Peter Harmsma
Peter Harmsma obtained his PhD at the Delft University (2000) on InP-based PICs. He was co-founder of ThreeFive Photonics, an InP startup in the field of fiber-optic communication. He is with TNO since 2008, in his current position as senior scientist he works with all main PIC material platforms for the realization of sensor applications. Since 2008, Peter is part-time associated with Delta Diagnostics, a TNO spin-off in the field of PIC-based biosensors. At TNO his main field of research is the development of PIC-based ultrasound transducers.
