Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) technology harnesses the power of light to create energy-efficient, faster, and more accurate microchips. These enable new applications, such as lidar, innovative networking solutions and all kinds of sensors. All kinds of sensors offer various solutions for agrifood, maintenance and medical challenges.
Imagine – two whole days dedicated to discussion, collaboration, and innovation with key international opinion leaders from across our thriving sector. The conference offers a rich program – featuring keynotes from semicon executives, users of PIC technology, EU policymakers, and the wider PIC community to discuss the future of the integrated photonics industry globally.
What to expect? Here are all days at a glance:
- Day 1: features a curated mix of keynote speakers and panel discussions on a range of topics including quantum photonics, and the future of chip design.
- Day 2: presents industry keynotes exploring the state of the art of applications using PICs. In the morning, there will be an investor meeting under the flag of Tech Tour.
- IPSR-I & Tech Tour: day two also marks the start of the two-day IPSR-I Autumn Meeting to advance the global integrated photonics roadmap and the Tech Tour Photonics to bring together investors and startups.
No other event unites end-users, academics, investors, and major players from across the photonics industry in the same way.
