Pieter Wuytens
Pieter Wuytens graduated as an engineer from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and subsequently obtained his PhD in photonics and cell biotechnology from Ghent University in 2017. Next he moved to imec, working as a photonic integration engineer before moving on to R&D innovation management and a chief-of-staff role for imec's semiconductor technology division. In 2021, Pieter joined Ligentec as Director Business Development, with the mission to grow the worldwide impact of photonics through silicon nitride photonic integrated circuits.
